At Bridge H2OPE, we champion the belief that clean water is a basic human right. Beyond merely providing infrastructure, we are committed to empowering communities through education initiatives that inspire action. By engaging university students as passionate advocates, we raise awareness about the critical need for clean water access, particularly in Ethiopian rural areas. These initiatives transcend classroom learning, fostering a sense of social responsibility and sparking grassroots activism within local communities. Join us in our mission to create lasting change and ensure that every Ethiopian community has access to clean and safe drinking water. Together, we can make waves of difference and transform lives for the better.

In November 2019, McAlister presented his portable water filter project and introduced his founding of H2OPE TC to Northfield Mount Hermon School (NMH) in Massachusetts. He reported on the Ethiopian water crisis, and highlighted the importance of clean and safe drinking water for Ethiopian rural communities. He reflected on his childhood life and his experience with lack of clean drinking water, and the loss of his family members due to water borne bacteria. He left NMH student inspired to be an engaged citizen.
Former H2OPE TC's Co-President, Brendan Coffey and President Peter Finucane tabled during Trinity's weekly common hour. They fundraised by collecting donated dining hall meal swipes and provided information about H2OPE TC and the mission to provide access to clean water in Ethiopia.
